Gigi Hadid, Naomi Campbell, and Kendall Jenner were just some of the big names to walk the Versace runway at the Italian fashion house’ Fall/Winter 2023 show in Los Angeles on Thursday.

They were joined by Emily Ratajkowski on the catwalk, while onlookers included Miley Cyrus, Lily James, Anne Hathaway, Dua Lipa, Cher, Pamela Anderson, and Paris Hilton among others.

The show was held at the Pacific Design Center in West Hollywood and ended with designer Donatella Versace taking to the stage for a bow.

All of the models wore a heavy swipe of black eyeliner across each eye, while the rest of their makeup remained neutral. Their hair was worn with a middle parting and thrown back over their shoulders.

One of Gigi’s looks included a black sheer corseted long-sleeve top with a hip-hugging floor-length satin skirt. Her second look was a structured black skirt suit which features a black blazer, pencil skirt, and wet look black gloves.

Kendall took to the runway in a mini dress with a puff skirt that featured shimmering balloon arms. Her look was accessorised with a baby pink handbag and matching heels.

Emily’s was a more stripped-back look, as she wore a fitted midi dress with a circular neckline and thin straps. She also wore gloves and held a baby pink handbag over her shoulder.

Naomi’s look saw the veteran supermodel wear long black gloves with a halterneck maxi dress that was embroidered around the neck and bust.

Donatella wore a version of Emily’s dress as she walked the runway at the end and waved at the audience, but it was shorter and embroidered with black flowers around the neckline.

The designer later said that she wanted to “put herself to the test” with this collection and that it “felt like a challenge”.

“In Milan, I’m at home. Showing in Los Angeles was getting out of my comfort zone. When I create a collection, I want to feel insecure... Maybe I’m crazy, but this is the questioning that helps me grow and improve,” she told L'Officiel

“I wanted luxury after all of the street style from the past few years. I worked to enhance the foundations of the Maison Versace, of Gianni’s work. I started with a collection from 1995, and I found a renewed desire towards tailoring, architecture, shapes, and cuts.”
